Got Your Number
My recent conversation at the MAC cosmetic store:
Sales person: How can I help you today?
Me: I'm looking for an eyeliner in a smoky gray
Sales person: Phone Number?
Me: (Thinking she's going to look up a past purchase) No, I've never purchased an eyeliner here
Sales person: No, Phone Number?
Me: (Thinking to myself) WHAAAAAT? My phone number can help you select what color eye liner I should use? OMG that's so neat. Wait, really?
Me: (Actually saying to sales person) Huh?
Sales person: That's the name of the smoky gray kohl eyeliner we have. Phone Number.
Me: Yes, of course, I would like to see that one please.

On the Edge
After years of trying to figure out how to attach a crocheted edging on to a pillowcase (absent a hemstitch), the light bulb finally went on. That is, after I saw Cassie's post at You Go Girl. First you blanket stitch then your crochet "attaches" to the horizontal bars created by the blanket stitch! Brilliant. Disregard the red chalk line placed for an attempt at even blanket stitches. Hopefully it will wash out. Check out these photos from Rose Hip. Color color color. Wow.
