After years of trying to figure out how to attach a crocheted edging on to a pillowcase (absent a hemstitch), the light bulb finally went on. That is, after I saw Cassie's post at
You Go Girl. First you blanket stitch then your crochet "attaches" to the horizontal bars created by the blanket stitch! Brilliant. Disregard the red chalk line placed for an attempt at even blanket stitches. Hopefully it will wash out. Check out these photos from
