My Doo-vay is Lum-pay

or...my duvet is lumpet. My king-size down comforter shifts around in the duvet cover. You really can't see the lumps in this photo but they are there---the comforter shifts all to one side and down to the foot of the bed. Fluffing doesn't work. Anyone have any suggestions? I love the duvet. It is from West Elm and reminds me of a wedding dress. I don't think I would like comforter clips as they look like they would be hard and uncomfortable. Martha suggests sewing ribbons in all 4 corners of both the duvet cover and the comforter like this. If anyone has used the clips or the ribbon technique, or has any other ideas, please let me know!

I took my duvet, duback - too hot -shifts.

Maybe you can sew in snaps. One in duvet, one in cover. I just thought of that.

Two snaps up, it might work.

You can borrow my cats. They sleep all day on my comforter. Just move them around every so often, lump to lump, and let them do all the work. You will be smooth again in no time. Then, please post about how to get rid of cat hair. I'll be checking back.
