Oh La La




Last year on a trip to a luxury hotel for Mother's Day weekend I discovered French macaroons. OMG. Not the toasted coconut blobs usually called macaroons. French macaroons. Two puffed meringue wafers sandwiching a layer of fruity (or chocolaty or nutty) goodness. And oh the colors.




I've searched for an easy recipe to try to recreate these at home but it looks like these are best left to the pros. The French pros. Each recipe I have found calls for a lot of almond flour and a lot of time. I don't have either stocked in my pantry right now.




I do have a telephone (several!) at my fingertips and could order from here!
